The 2017-2018 issue of the Liberal Arts College Student Journal is set to be published this spring. Its aim will be to offer the student body a platform they can use to publish their writing, as well as to showcase their talents and to advertise personal projects. Moreover, the journal hopes to allow affiliated students to develop skills that will prove useful.
The committee is open for submissions from the LAC student body and from alumni. If you have a strong and thoughtprovoking essay on a text from the canon or any other subject, send it in via our e-mail address below. We will also gladly consider journalistic works, opinion pieces, visual art incl. graphic storytelling, etc.. Multiple submissions are accepted.
Submissions sent to the above e-mail address will have the author’s name and other relevant data removed temporarily by a third party until they are shortlisted by the editors. Shortlisted entries may be revised with the author’s consent and participation throughout the 2018 Winter semester. Please send in your submission no later than Dec. 31st, 2017.
If you have any questions, ideas (e.g. if you want to suggest a name for the journal), or if you just want to chat please do not hesitate to contact us. We are keen on discussing a collective vision of the journal.
